Account Supervisor - Consumer Entertainment Team

DKC Los Angeles is in search of a talented Account Supervisor who is both strategic and proactive to join our growing Consumer Entertainment practice. The new team member will help lead a cross-section of entertainment accounts and be responsible for helping develop, oversee and execute innovative, high-impact campaigns anchored in creative storytelling (media relations). The position requires collaborative effort with a bi-coastal team.
The ideal candidate is driven, passionate and skilled in PR with an established network of media/influencer contacts and solid track record of securing significant media placements. The Account Supervisor will be committed to producing and overseeing quality work in alignment with campaign strategy to achieve desired results.
This position will report to a Vice President and Executive Vice President.
Qualifications + Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Communications or Journalism ideal
- 4-5 years relevant PR agency or in-house communications expertise
- Strong writer who effectively develops and edits on-message press materials
- A history of pitching and securing campaign, product, event and/or service feature, trend and news coverage
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with media/influencers and industry insiders
- In-sync with pop culture trends and calendar
- Able to identify KPIs, measure and merchandize program success
- Possesses a great mix of film, TV, music and corporate entertainment knowledge
- Experience working with senior level executives
- Capable of working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment and able to simultaneously manage multiple deadlines and tasks
- Brings experience in participation in the new business process
- A connector who understands the tremendous value and potential opportunities of networking
Our office has a hybrid work model: in office 3 days a week, working remote 2 days a week.

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $75,000 to $85,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility, and qualifications.
