About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage end-to-end billing, accounts receivable operations, and contract-related financial activities. This role requires strong attention to detail, contract analysis expertise, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with finance, sales, and contract management teams. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate invoicing, timely collections, compliance with accounting standards, and excellent client service.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable & Billing
- Oversee daily accounts receivable operations, ensuring accurate and timely billing.
- Generate and distribute invoices in compliance with contractual terms, accounting standards, and applicable regulations.
- Monitor overdue accounts and perform follow-ups to ensure timely collections.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes by coordinating with clients and internal stakeholders.
Reporting & Financial Analysis
- Prepare monthly reports on account status, discrepancies, and aging.
- Maintain accurate records of billed and unbilled revenue.
- Assist in preparing revenue-related financial reports and forecasts.
- Support proper revenue recognition in collaboration with the finance team.
Contract Management & Compliance
- Review and interpret contracts and pricing structures to ensure accurate billing.
- Monitor adherence to contract terms and promptly address any billing-impacting changes.
- Coordinate with sales and contract teams regarding amendments, renewals, or extensions.
- Maintain a centralized repository for contract and billing documentation to support audits and reporting.
Client & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client billing inquiries.
- Deliver timely, professional, and customer-focused responses.
- Partner with sales and internal teams to proactively address client concerns.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and issue resolution.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, Contract Management, or related roles.
- Fluent in Korean and English (spoken and written).
- Proficiency with accounting systems and contract management tools.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience interpreting and managing complex contracts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of legal and compliance requirements related to contracts and billing.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Experience supporting large enterprise or global client accounts.
- Strong background in revenue recognition principles.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
