The primary responsibility of this role is to spearhead the development of new market openings and cultivate vital customer relationships within the Ohio territory. The position is dedicated to advancing our business footprint with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), panel builders, and distributor allies, in alignment with our strategic objectives for regional sales and marketing.
This position demands collaboration with internal teams, including inside sales, product line management, and senior sales leadership, to stimulate revenue growth and uncover new automation solution opportunities. Key tasks include generating new business prospects with OEM partners, reinforcing existing key account relationships, and surpassing set sales and revenue goals within the given territory. Candidates will identify customer needs, tailor technical and commercial solutions, and represent our company at various industry events.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record in B2B sales within the industrial automation or electronic components sectors, with a focus on OEMs, panel builders, or industrial distributors. Strong knowledge of automation components and exceptional communication skills are also required. Candidates should be adept at functioning within a technical sales landscape, self-motivated, and equipped with a problem-solving mindset.
Preferred qualifications include a degree in fields such as Electrical Engineering or Automation Engineering, experience with CRM systems and ERP tools, and the capability to manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously.
