2+ years of experience in health insurance (small group medical, dental, vision, or related).
· Strong understanding of ACA compliance, renewal processes, and carrier products including Cigna, Anthem, and UnitedHealthcare.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (formulas, formatting, and basic analysis).
· Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
· Current CT Life & Health license preferred (or ability to obtain).
· Manage and process all group renewals, including carrier communication, plan comparisons, and proposal preparation.
· Quote new business opportunities and track prospects through the sales cycle.
· Prepare Excel-based comparison spreadsheets and cost analyses for clients.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
· Follow up with prospective clients and assist producers in closing new business.
· Ensure a smooth client experience by handling service requests and carrier questions.
The Account Manager will manage all aspects of small group renewals (1–50 employees) and assist with new business quoting, presentations, and client follow-up. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in group health insurance who enjoys client interaction, organization, and problem-solving.
