Acccounting Manager

- Lead daily accounting operations, including general ledger oversight, fixed assets, lease accounting, and transactional accounting functions
- Drive the monthly close process, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and adherence to reporting timelines
- Review, approve, and prepare journal entries and account reconciliations, including more complex or judgmental areas
- Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the integrity of financial information
- Provide technical guidance and issue resolution support to accounts payable and accounts receivable teams
- Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff, promoting performance, accountability, and growth
- Coordinate external reporting requirements, including annual audits, tax schedules, and special reporting requests
- Support consolidated financial reporting activities, including the aggregation and analysis of results across multiple cost centers, business units, or legal entities
- Partner with finance leadership on budgeting and forecasting processes, including consolidation of departmental budgets and preparation of analytical support
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives and complete special projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline
- CPA or CMA certification preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Experience supporting multi-entity or multi-department environments; Manufacturing or operationally complex settings preferred
- Strong technical accounting foundation and understanding of internal controls
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with standard business applications
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- High level of integrity and ethical judgment
- Strong attention to detail with a results-oriented mindset
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Collaborative leadership style with a team-first approach
- Analytical and critical-thinking capabilities with a focus on problem-solving

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
