About This Role
The Carl and Melinda Helwig Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering (BAE) is seeking an Academic Programs Specialist. This position provides administrative coordination for the undergraduate programs and/or graduate programs in BAE, serving as a point of contact to students, prospective students, and faculty on matters related to course management and enrollment, program requirements, policies and procedures, and other administrative matters.

This position is On-site.
All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and four years of relevant experience.
- Requirements may be met through a combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in administrative support work
- Experience in university and/or academic institutions
- Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate effectively with others
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on detail
- Proficiency with computers and software programs (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite), experience with video editing and website design and maintenance, willingness to learn any other software packages needed to perform duties of the job
