Job Details
The Academic Dean is responsible for the strategic leadership, administration, and academic integrity of the campus.
This role oversees faculty, curriculum development, student success initiatives, accreditation compliance, and overall academic operations.
Schedule: Full-time, M-F, 8a-5pm
Salary: $165k-$175K/yr + relocation assistance + benefits
Employment: Permanent Hire
Location: Atlanta, GA (in-person) NOT remote
Requirements:
Master's degree, Education (required)
Doctorate degree, Education (preferred)
(8) years leadership experience in education
(4) years experience teaching or acting in an administrative role within a post-secondary institution (preferred)
Experienced in Accreditation + program assessment processes.
Prior experience an an Academic Dean (preferred)
Responsibilities
Principal Accountabilities & Deliverables
Provide curriculum development, academic policies, and faculty development
Ensure academic programs meet accreditation, state, and federal requirements
Implement training programs and workshops of faculty/staff for professional development
Lead the campus student retention efforts and provide support for program directors and faculty with retention activities, strategy, and initiative
Manage budgetary and financial planning for the academic division
Foster relationships with external partners, including businesses, advisory boards, community organizations, and accrediting bodies
