We are currently seeking AC Operators for VA Medical Center, Nashville, TN.
Pay: $90,000 per year.
Sign-on bonus: $2,500.

Schedule: 40 hours per week.
Description of duties:
- Will operate a multi-zone air conditioning plant consisting of several centrifugal chillers with a capacity of approximately 3,000 tons and two reciprocating chillers with a capacity of 175 tons each, 4 computer room air conditioning units with a total capacity of 40 tons, and other air conditioning components such as condenser water systems, chilled water circulating systems and large air handling units that provide heating, ventilation, filtering, humidification and cooling to the entire medical center.
- Must be able to start, stop, and adjust all the air conditioning equipment needed to maintain required conditions of special areas such as clinical labs, research labs, bone marrow transplant unit, operating rooms, decentralized hospital computer equipment rooms, MRI, telephone and communication equipment, etc.

- Basic plumbing.
- Basic electricity.
- Siemen Desigo Computer System – Building Automation System 1 year of experience utilizing system.
- REES System.
- Viewpoint.
- Notifier fire alarm System.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience in commercial HVAC or building systems operations
- EPA 608 Universal Refrigerant Certification.
Experience with:
- Commercial chillers and cooling towers.
- Air handling units and hydronic systems.
- Siemens Desigo computer system.
- Pneumatic tube systems (preferred).
