Works within the vision, mission, and philosophy of the agency. Under the direct supervision of clinical program management team, provides naturalistic developmental and behavioral interventions such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) positive behavior supports, and intervention strategies to individuals with neurodevelopmental challenges, such as autism, ADHD, developmental disabilities, and/or other neurobehavioral health diagnoses. Works collaboratively with multidisciplinary ABA team and implements clinical treatment and behavior support plans to children and families. Works with individuals and/or caregivers in a variety of settings including homes, community, and other environments.
Responsibilities:- Under supervision of the multidisciplinary clinical program management team (e.g., BCBA, SLP, LMFT, LCSW, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Behavior Program Coordinator), provide group ABA services to assigned clients across a variety of treatment modalities (e.g., DTT, PRT, NET, JASPER, NDBIs, etc).
- Occasional direct individual ABA services to assigned clients across a variety of treatment modalities (e.g., DTT, PRT, NET, JASPER, NDIBIs, etc), under supervision of the multidisciplinary clinical program management team (e.g., BCBA, SLP, LMFT, LCSW, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Behavior Program Coordinator).
- Integrate feedback from clinical supervisors to deliver effective quality clinical services that meet fidelity measures of implementation.
- Record data, including video, for all treatment goals utilizing electronic data collection systems (e.g., Catalyst) to support client outcomes and ensure staff treatment fidelity.
- Model, teach, reinforce, and implement behavioral interventions and skill development plans with individuals, caregivers, and support network.
- Assist supervisors with plan development (e.g., report development, progress summary) and assessment tasks.
- Assist teams in developing program materials (e.g., lesson plans, visual schedules, social stories, etc.) to develop individualized, strength-based strategies and interventions that will result in positive behavior change.
- Actively participate in supervision, team meetings, in-service, client progress meetings, and other key meetings as assigned.
- Proactively identify potential conflicts; clearly communicate with clinical supervisor on client-related services (e.g., barriers to implementation, lack of caregiver participation, etc.) within 24 hours.
- Ensure effective coordination of services for individuals and caregivers with other providers, both internal and external, by supporting the development of constructive relationships and problem-solving barriers.
- High School Degree
- Registered Behavior Technician certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board preferred
- Ability to speak, write, or read other languages preferred
- Must pass First Aid/CPR Certification
- Must pass Registered Behavior Technician certification.
- Must pass Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), and Child Abuse Index Check (CAIC) background clearance.
