Job Title: CDL A Route Delivery Driver (Grocery Distribution)
Location: Goddard, KS
Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday (Off: Wednesday & Thursday)
Shift: Dispatch between 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (start time provided morning of shift; occasional PM shifts required)

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused CDL A Route Delivery Driver to transport and deliver grocery products to customer locations. This is a regional driving role that requires hands-on product handling, including frequent unloading using manual and electric pallet jacks. Drivers should be comfortable with out-of-state travel and overnight routes. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically capable, and committed to providing excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle to deliver grocery products along assigned regional routes

• Perform hand unloading of products at delivery locations

• Utilize manual and electric pallet jacks to move, stage, and deliver product

• Verify delivery accuracy and obtain proper documentation and signatures

• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Provide professional and courteous customer service at all delivery stops

• Adapt to dynamic dispatch schedules and occasional PM/evening shifts

• Complete multi-day routes, including overnight travel when required

Route & Travel Details

• Drivers will be dispatched between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM, with exact start times communicated the morning of each shift

• This is a regional position with expected layovers 1–3 times per week

• Routes include out-of-state travel to Kansas, Nebraska, and Missouri

• Some routes cannot be completed in a single day; hotel accommodations will be provided for overnight stays

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A)

• Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check

• Experience with manual and electric pallet jacks preferred

• Previous delivery or food/grocery distribution experience is a plus

• Ability to lift, carry, and move product regularly (50+ lbs)

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail

Physical Requirements

• Frequent lifting, bending, and pulling

• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift

• Comfortable working in various weather conditions
