Key Responsibilities
* Set up and operate manual machines following established speeds, feeds, and tooling sequences
* Operate CNC machines with pre-programmed setups
* Adjust machines to maintain tight tolerances and quality standards
* Inspect parts to ensure compliance with specifications
* Perform sub-assembly operations as needed
* Operate automatic welding equipment
* Use precision measuring tools and shop equipment
* Sharpen tools and maintain equipment as needed
* Maintain a clean and organized work area
* Support additional shop duties as directed
Requirements
* 5-7 years of machine shop or machining experience
* Ability to read blueprints, sketches, and work instructions
* Experience operating manual and/or CNC machines
* Familiarity with shop tools, measuring devices, and processes
* Strong attention to detail and quality standards
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work with minimal supervision
