Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Production Lead to support daily operations and lead a team of production workers. The ideal candidate will have experience in food manufacturing, a strong understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee production line activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety

• Monitor team performance and provide guidance, coaching, and support

• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and GMP regulations

• Train and mentor new employees

• Coordinate with supervisors and other departments to meet daily production goals

• Assist in troubleshooting equipment and workflow issues

• Maintain accurate production and shift reports

• Support continuous improvement efforts on the floor

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in food manufacturing or related industry

• Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred

• Knowledge of GMP and food safety standards

• Ability to read and interpret production reports, procedures, and safety documents

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

• Forklift certification is a plus
