We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to support operations within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role is critical to ensuring maximum equipment uptime, production efficiency, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting, and mechanical maintenance, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve issues in a production setting. This individual thrives in a high-pressure environment and takes a proactive approach to preventive maintenance and continuous improvement.

Job Details
Perform routine inspections of production equipment to identify wear, damage, or potential failures
Execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and PLC-controlled systems
Diagnose issues with motors, conveyors, sensors, drives, and automated equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Respond to equipment breakdowns with urgency to restore production operations
Collaborate with production teams to optimize equipment performance and reliability
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and documentation
Ensure compliance with food safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company safety policies
Recommend and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce recurring issues
Qualifications & Requirements
3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing (food or high-speed production preferred)
Strong knowledge of:
Electrical systems (up to 480V, 3-phase)
PLCs (troubleshooting, basic programming a plus)
Mechanical systems (pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, gearboxes)
Experience with preventive maintenance systems (CMMS preferred)
Proven troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
Strong understanding of safety standards and GMP environments
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Willingness to work night shifts and be on-call for emergency repairs
Technical certification or degree (Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Maintenance) preferred
