OpSource Staffing is partnering with a well-established metal fabrication company in Greenville, SC to hire an experienced Press Brake Operator.

Position Overview
Press Brake Operators produce precision parts and tools from metal using a CNC press brake machine. This role requires strong blueprint reading skills, precise measuring ability, and experience making accurate bends to exact specifications.
Operators are responsible for machine setup, adjustments, maintenance, and ensuring all finished products meet strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Shape Metal
Operate CNC press brake to shape primarily sheet metal
Load, align, and position materials for accurate bending
Adjust machine controls for speed, feed, and bend path
Maintain Equipment
Set up and maintain press brake machine
Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, filter changes, degreasing parts)
Ensure machine operates at full capacity
Read & Interpret Blueprints
Follow detailed blueprints and technical drawings
Make precise calculations to meet exact specifications
Inspect Materials & Finished Product
Inspect raw sheet metal for defects
Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet standards
Follow Safety Regulations
Follow company, state, and federal safety standards
Wear required PPE
Maintain clean and organized workspace
Required Skills & Qualifications
2+ years press brake experience preferred
CNC machine operation experience
Strong blueprint reading skills
Excellent measuring skills (metric & standard systems)
Proficient with calipers, tape measures, micrometers, and height gauges
Strong math and analytical skills
Ability to lift and move metal materials
Ability to stand for extended periods
Basic computer skills (CNC programming & digital work orders)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Good time management
Tools & Materials Used
Measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, micrometers, height gauges)
Metalworking hand tools (grinders, sanders, buffers)
Metals including aluminum, steel, and stainless steel
Technical documents (blueprints, BOMs, technique sheets)
Requirements
Valid Driver’s License
Must pass background check
Must pass drug screening
Tape measure test required
CNC/Press Brake skills assessment required
Reliable transportation
