Overview

Challenger Lifts, Inc., a division of Snap-on is seeking a candidate that would be responsible to manually by hand truck or fork lift, move incoming, in process and outbound product to designated areas in the plant or onto trucks in preparation for delivery. Must be able to operate in a safe and efficient manner and maintain a safe work environment at all times. Pay is $20.19/hr plus an attendance incentive.

Responsibilities

  • Load or unload materials from or onto trucks, pallets or shelves
  • Under direction of supervisor and others, associate is required to perform various material handling functions in the production plant
  • Work safely and report any unsafe working conditions or practices to management
  • Other work assigned by management for business reasons
  • Suggests and assists in process improvements which assures safety, quality and efficiency is built into the process
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must have several years of fork lift experience
  • Must have good understanding of safe practices
  • Must have good organization and housekeeping skills
  • Must be detailed, conscientious, logical and understands the importance of quality
  • Must have complete understanding of the quality of finished product to meet the expectations of our customers as the candidate is responsible for the efficient and safe movement of raw materials and finished product
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as heavy lifting may be required at times
  • Must align with the Snap-on mission statement
  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which includes; Hi-Vis Vest, Steel Toe Shoes, Safety Glasses or Prescription Safety Glasses (If Applicable), Gloves (If Applicable), and Ear Plugs (If Applicable).
  • Must adhere to safety guidelines
