1st shift Machine operator

Job Title 1st Shift RSA Operator
 Pay 18.40 per hour
 Shift 1st Shift hours to be confirmed overtime may be required

Position Summary
 The RSA Operator is responsible for machine setup tool setting program loading and operation of machining equipment. This role ensures equipment runs efficiently and produces parts that meet quality and SPC requirements. The position also includes troubleshooting maintenance support and continuous improvement of production performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 Prepare and set up equipment for scheduled production runs
 Load programs change work holding devices and perform tool changes
 Adjust geometry and wear offsets as needed
 Perform first piece inspections using basic measuring tools
 Operate machinery to meet daily production schedules
 Ensure all parts meet quality and specification requirements
 Troubleshoot equipment issues and assist with minor repairs including mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic systems
 Perform preventive maintenance and support emergency repairs
 Read and interpret blueprints part prints and equipment manuals
 Document setups repairs adjustments and maintenance activities
 Monitor and improve production metrics such as uptime throughput and efficiency
 Follow OSHA safety standards and company policies
 Comply with TS16949 and ISO 14001 requirements
 Maintain a clean and organized work area
 Work overtime as needed including covering off shifts
 Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required
 Technical training or exposure to manufacturing equipment
 Minimum 2 years of experience in a production machining environment
 Basic knowledge of CNC or Swiss lathe machines
 Experience with machine setup and operation
 Ability to read and interpret blueprints
 Familiarity with manual measuring tools

Preferred
 Machinist experience using Fanuc controls
 Ability to interpret GD and T tolerances
