A leading international food manufacturer is currently seeking a 1st Shift (6am~3pm) Production Staff member to assist the production manager at their Piscataway, NJ site. The ideal candidate will have previous food production experience.
*This is a full time, direct hire position.
1st Shift Production Staff member Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol production lines and GMP areas regularly.
- Monitor and ensure operators follow all procedures, SOPs, and SSOPs.
- Report abnormal situations and line stoppages promptly to the supervisor.
- Communicate production losses and stoppages using Microsoft Teams.
- Coordinate with Maintenance for equipment issues.
- Collaborate with QC Department
- Review daily production records and report abnormalities to the supervisor.
- Help ensure completion of the daily production schedule; report any delays.
- Assist in onboarding new employees, including training video setup and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
1st Shift Production Staff member Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills and dependability.
- Ability to understand and follow company policies, SOPs, and SSOPs.
- Ability to work in temperature controlled environment (hot, humid and cold)
- Knowledge of production processes and related equipment.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
- Physically able to stand/walk for 70% and sit for 30% of the shift.
