Job Title: Relationship Support Manager
The Relationship Support Manager partners with the Relationship Manager and oversees client or stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective management of requirements using Jira, high-quality execution through robust quality control, and the development of problem-solving systems and processes. This role leverages data analysis, reporting, and advanced Excel skills to drive insights, monitor performance, and support decision-making. Acting as a key liaison, the manager ensures alignment, quality, and efficiency while delivering actionable reports and data-driven solutions to enhance operational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Requirements Management
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, or internal teams to gather, document, and prioritize project or service requirements within Jira, utilizing epics, user stories, and tasks.
- Analyze and validate requirements in Jira for clarity, feasibility, and alignment with organizational objectives, ensuring proper categorization and prioritization.
- Maintain a traceable requirements repository in Jira, using custom fields, labels, and workflows to track updates, changes, and dependencies.
- Communicate requirements clearly to relevant teams via Jira dashboards and reports, ensuring shared understanding and execution alignment.
- Monitor and evaluate the execution of requirements to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations, using Jira to track progress and issues.
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes, including metrics, checkpoints, and feedback mechanisms, integrated with Jira workflows.
- Conduct regular audits to identify deviations from requirements, leveraging Jira reports to recommend corrective actions and ensure compliance.
- Ensure adherence to organizational standards, industry regulations, and client-specific guidelines.
- Design, implement, and optimize systems and processes to address operational challenges and enhance efficiency, incorporating Jira for issue tracking and resolution.
- Identify recurring issues or bottlenecks through data analysis and develop proactive solutions, using Jira to manage and prioritize fixes.
- Refine processes using performance data and stakeholder feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate problem-solving frameworks into workflows, leveraging Jira for seamless coordination.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to requirements execution, project performance, and client satisfaction using Excel and other analytics platforms.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and actionable insights, integrating Jira data where applicable.
- Use advanced Excel functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, Power Query) to process large datasets, identify patterns, and support decision-making.
- Provide ad-hoc analyses to address stakeholder queries or support process improvements, pulling data from Jira as needed.
- Deliver regular updates through data-driven reports and presentations on project progress, quality metrics, and issue resolution, using insights from Jira and Excel.
- Anticipate client needs and proactively address concerns using data analysis to enhance satisfaction.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and manage expectations to ensure alignment between stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Work closely with Relationship Managers, technical teams, and data analysts to ensure seamless execution and reporting, using Jira for collaboration.
- Provide guidance on Jira best practices, data analysis, and reporting standards to team members.
- Foster a culture of accountability, quality, and data-driven decision-making within the team.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Project Management, or a related field (Masters degree or certifications like PMP, Six Sigma, or Microsoft Excel Expert preferred).
- Experience:
- 3-5 years in relationship management, project management, or process improvement roles.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting, with a proven track record of using Excel for complex datasets.
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience with Jira for requirements management, including creating and managing epics, stories, and workflows.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced Excel Skills: Proficiency in pivot tables, advanced formulas (e.g., INDEX/MATCH, VLOOKUP), macros, Power Query, and data visualization (e.g., charts, conditional formatting).
- Jira Expertise: Proficient in using Jira for requirements management, workflow customization, issue tracking, and reporting (e.g., dashboards, JQL queries).
- Other Requirements Management Tools: Familiarity with tools like Jama Connect or Visure is a plus.
- Data Analysis and Reporting Tools: Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms for creating dashboards and reports.
- Knowledge of quality control methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and process mapping tools.
