(Portal) Analyst I, Digital Strategy

Summary:
The (Portal) Analyst I supports the execution and monitoring of Resurgent's customer-facing digital collections strategies, with a focus on improving customer experience within the Resurgent Customer Portal. This role assists in gathering, analyzing, and reporting on customer behavioral related data to understand performance trends and identify improvement opportunities. The position is specifically suited to analytical thinkers with an educational or experiential background in business or finance looking to directly impact both financial performance and customer experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Assist in collaboration with Digital Communications and Digital Strategy team members to define key performance indicators to evaluate the engagement and financial performance of new business strategies, including paid media performance.
Support the implementation and monitoring of key performance metrics that should be impacted by a strategy change, and create queries, reports, and/or data visualizations to assess the monetary and non-monetary impacts of strategic changes.
Create presentation materials with oversight to quantify and communicate performance results to all stakeholders, evidencing diligence in investigating unexpected results.
Develop a working understanding of the Resurgent Customer Portal, the preceding events created by user actions and Resurgent Customer Portal session aggregation logic.
Support the analysis of strategy changes and document findings for review by senior team members.
Assist in reviewing customer session data to ensure event tracking accuracy and identify potential irregularities.
Locate, gather, and analyze distributed data (online & offline) for applicability, completeness, and quality to serve as input to enhance the customer experience and enrich internal event activities within the Resurgent Customer Portal.
Participate in cross-functional testing (UAT) and collaboration with IT to validate portal software changes.
Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Skills & Qualifications:
0-2 years of analytical experience
Experience working with large datasets (>1M records) in SQL or other relational database
Experience using data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau) to convey complex data relationships at-a-glance
Strong desire to learn and passion for using analytics to solve real-world problems
Strong ability to work well with others and work in cross functional teams
Ability to articulate thoughts, ideas, and opinions professionally in written and verbal communication and across cross-functional team
Exceptional organizational skills, able to multitask and appropriately prioritize workload in a fast paced, resource constrained environment
Strong proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, statistics, or related quantitative field required
Experience or coursework in marketing, product management, or user experience a plus
