SGA Talent is a top 250 Recruiting and Staffing firm looking to recruit .Net Developer roles with a non profit and for a few New York State teams.

Position Description:
  • DOHMH has an opening for a .Net Developer. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions that meet business needs.
  • Participate in the design, development, and implementation of .NET applications under the guidance of senior developers.
  • Learn and apply .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, and other relevant frameworks.
  • Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to testing and deployment.
  • Collaborate effectively with other developers, testers, and stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot and debug code to ensure application quality and stability.
  • Stay updated on the latest .NET technologies and industry best practices.
  • Will train in Microsoft technologies.

Mandatory Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience using languages such as .Net, Java, Python, JavaScript, or other relevant programming languages. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives within timeline.
  • Familiarity with .NET frameworks or other programming languages. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. 

  • Desired Skills:
  • Experience working with City of New York agencies is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining web applications using C# and the .NET Framework (version 4.8 or newer).
  • Experience designing and implementing MVC5+ architecture for scalable and maintainable solutions.
  • Ability to build and consume Web Services and Web APIs effectively.
  • Solid understanding of ADO.NET for data access and manipulation.
  • Expertise in designing and developing web pages, including integration using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
  • Expertise in writing optimized SQL queries, functions, stored procedures and managing databases with Microsoft SQL Server 2019 or newer.
