Job Description

Business Development Manager for a growing staffing agency, seeking an established Sales/Business Development Manager, who, possesses a strong sales background along with entrepreneurial spirit and drive.  

Daily Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide sales development and support on new business opportunities
  • Identify, research and secure new business opportunities utilizing prospecting skills and community/business networking opportunities to increase revenue, improve contribution and diversify product lines and expand geographical service area
  • Develop and maintain relationships in local business community to develop, enhance, and maintain knowledge base of industry changes and community needs, as well as development of business and industry relationships to enhance sales and recruitment opportunities
  • Develop sales strategy in concert with district and divisional business plans utilizing strategic planning process that encompasses division plan growth and industry trends in order to ensure coordination of district efforts to achieve goals
  • Maintain knowledge of industry standards, changes, and trends both nationally and in the defined district

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in the sale or recruiting of staffing products or services preferred
  • Must have proven B2B Sales experience
  • Must possess a proven ability to develop business, build relationships, communicate both orally and in writing, and network
  • Must demonstrate a strong internal/external customer focus and personal leadership, and solid negotiation and presentation skills
  • Able to collaborate effectively with all levels of management
  • Ability to work within a "team approach
