Job Description

Our Systems Coordinator works in a fast-paced position that is at the hub of activity in our Site & Private Fleet Services business unit.  The main objective of a Systems Coordinator is to verify that the customer’s needs are met in a prompt and professional manner.  As a successful Systems Coordinator, you must have a strong customer service orientation, a high level of organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent computer skills, and an ability to multi-task at a very fast pace while thinking quickly and clearly.

 

Key Duties

·         Create and schedule all truck shipments for customer at their facility.

·         Work with outside carriers to schedule customer shipments for customer service.

·         Work closely with Customer Service Representatives on all orders and customer disputes.

·         Review all loaded paperwork for accuracy and discrepancies.

·         Work with plant personnel on schedule and or carrier issues.

·         Update and maintain 3 different loading schedules.

·         Must be available after hours for phone calls.

·         Knowledgeable on DOT requirements on tractor’s & trailers, as well as plant, and product requirements.

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

·         1-2 years of logistics/transportation, preferred

·         Prior payroll and dispatching experience, preferred

·         Customer service, operations and/or industrial experience is required.

·         Computer skills:  Word, Excel, PowerPoint required.  SAP and AS400 a plus.
