Job Description

Now Hiring a Manufacturing Engineer for a permanent opportunity in Buffalo, NY.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in BSME/BSEE/BSIE
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment working with documentation of process improvements, work instructions, and heavy documentation
  • Strong data analysis skills and use of computer programs for data compilation and organization

Responsibilities:

  • Investigates and analyzes the cost and reliability of various manufacturing equipment, tooling and processes. Keeps track of all the data in an organized process.
  • Demonstrates process capabilities of equipment designed and implemented into manufacturing and establish / recommend critical checks (PM's) to keep equipment properly maintained.
  • Proven project management skills, focusing on equipment acquisition and implementation along with improvements to existing equipment / processes.
  • Efficiently designs tooling, detailed drawings, etc., on existing and new manufacturing equipment, tooling and processes.
  • Must be a team oriented person who works well in an energetic and fast-paced environment and perform other duties as assigned or as dictated by priority and responsibility.
  • Performs hands-on troubleshooting with existing manufacturing equipment, tooling and processes.
  • Provides timely status updates on all assigned projects, and highly organized and efficient.
  • Provides continual development improvements in equipment and/or processes, keeping up to date on the latest manufacturing technology.
