Currently hiring for a Rental Coordinator in Des Moines, Iowa:

Daily Duties:
Answer rental phone calls, handle and sell to customers courteously and professionally, obtain as much information as possible so as to provide the proper equipment. Be able to sell rental both in-house and by phone.

Organize and administer all requirements of department including training and supervising rental personnel; maintain
files; necessary paperwork, including computer, schedule
equipment (delivery, pickup or repair).

Be aware of equipment availability and condition; analyze general condition of equipment and schedule for preventive maintenance, minor repairs in department or send to service (keep check status), prepare units for use, checking for overall proper working condition.

Best background is someone from mechanical or maintenance work that is looking for a next step into a customer service role.

Will be answering rental phone calls, working with customers in person, selling and scheduling rental equipment in person and over the phone, working with the maintenance team in the yard, analyzing general condition of equipment, scheduling preventative maintenance, setting up scheduling, and having an overall knowledge of companies and equipment in the industry.
