Job Description

Our client is looking to hire a Loan Sales Support Representative!The main responsibilities include working on the Real Estate Help Desk by performing the following duties:

  • Primary Responsibility to assist members calling into the Real Estate Help Line with their mortgage questions and application input needs.
  • Interviews member/borrower to determine needs and loan options.
  • Explains loan program options available under the credit union's real estate lending programs.
  • Utilizes loan origination system to originate loan applications for members calling the RE Help Line and ensures loan application and agreements are complete and accurate according to policy and requirements set out in regulation, or secondary market guidelines.
  • Informs the member of applicable closing costs such as appraisal, credit report and notary fees, etc.
  • Reviews the various stages of origination, processing, underwriting and closing.
  • Reviews with the member the necessary documentation needed to verify income, assets, purchase agreements and documentation any special circumstances.
  • Provides support for external Real Estate Loan Officers by following-up on incomplete applications entered by members into the loan origination platform.
  • Provides status support as requested by members and coordinate information and documentation being provided to Lending Operations.
  • Where applicable inform members of approvals, denials and needed documentation.
  • To monitor Secure Support email folders, real estate information request email folders and real estate help line voice mail folders for both CFCU and SCU brands.
  • Make outbound calls to follow-up on assigned branch Real Estate referrals.
  • Reviewing applicable mortgage options and taking applications over the phone as needed.
  • As needed to support Loan Officers on PTO and assigned by the Lending Sales Manager complete mortgage applications with required disclosures and member documentation for submission into processing.
  • Load documents into the loan digital filing cabinets as needed to support external Real Estate Loan Officers.
  • Provide sales support for various marketing promos via outbound calls and emails.
    Other duties as assigned
