Basic Function

This opening is for those interested in Logistics, Customer Fulfillment or other Supply Chain areas.

The position provides support to the LyondellBasell Supply Chain organization through data analysis, process review and use of problem solving skills in order to make recommendations to support staff and management personnel. The position requires execution within a specific area; however the responsibilities will include exposure to various facets of Supply Chain including Customer Fulfillment, Inventory Planning, Logistics and more. The candidate will be supported by key Supply Chain staff while functioning on an independent basis. This position may require overtime and some travel.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Must learn and support company policies, procedures, and methodology
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external clients
  • Communicate in a clear, concise, and organized manner
  • Demonstrate the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Demonstrate ability to gain an understanding of relevant SAP modules as applicable to designated area(s)
  • May be required to extract data from SAP and convert to Excel or some other application to support management in a timely manner
  • Manages multiple priorities to meet deadlines and commitments
  • Seek opportunities to become involved in process improvements
  • Develop an understanding of the company, our products and the industry environment
Min. Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status
Preferred Qualifications
  • Must be working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or Industrial Distribution
  • Experience with spreadsheets, word processing, and SAP experience is preferred
  • Should be able to prioritize and perform responsibilities
  • Must demonstrate good communication skills, both oral and written
  • Overall GPA of 3.0 or greater
