Staff Psychologist

Job Description

MHP Psychology is an outpatient mental health office serving children (ages 3+) through adults, with opportunities for individual therapy and play therapy, as well as, psychological testing. Specific psychological tests used include IQ/educational assessment, personality assessments and other social-emotional assessments.

The Staff Psychologist is expected to maintain a rolling caseload (approx. 60) to meet the needs of the center and MHP's physician referrers. The composition of the caseload depends on the specialties of the Staff Psychologist and the needs/referrals of MHP. The typical schedule will include one day per week coverage during Major Psychology's daily walk-in/crisis hours, 2+ new patient appointments, follow-up psychotherapy appointments, psychometry, case management/admin time and report writing.

Job Requirements

Must have graduated or graduating from an APA- accredited graduate program in clinical or counseling psychology.

Proof of completion of degree requirements is required by the employment date.

HSPP required. Psychological testing experience preferred.
