DIRECTOR HUMAN RESOURCES

 

Global leader in software solutions and professional services seeks a highly motivated, experienced and dynamic Human Resources Executive to plan and direct enterprise-wide HR initiatives; including recruitment and staffing, training and development, compensation and benefits management, developing HR policy, employee relations and engagement, performance management and succession planning, executive coaching and team building, and ensuring employment law compliance.  As an advisor to the Executive Team, the Director Human Resources will provide strategic leadership to support core initiatives and objectives to advance the company’s growth by influencing organizational and culture change.

 

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Legal Studies or a related field; PHR & SPHR desirable.

  • 8-10+ years progressive HR and Benefits Management experience, with a minimum 5 years supervisory experience in a company poised for growth.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise, support and coach staff to achieve desired results.

  • Superior planning and organizational skills with a high attention to detail; proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a busy environment. 

  • Proven analytical thinker with creative problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and functional teams.    

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, positive attitude, with a commitment to confidentiality and ethical behavior.  Team orientation and ability to collaborate with peers across departments.

  • Thorough knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and HR financial strategies.

  • Knowledge of Federal and State employment law, AA/EEO compliance, and labor relations.

  • Advanced knowledge of business processes in HR, including applicant tracking, performance management systems, payroll systems and compensations tools.
