The Human Resources & Payroll Representative is responsible for supporting daily HR operations and ensuring accurate, timely payroll processing. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, payroll, benefits, and personnel matters, while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Job Requisition: Human Resources & Payroll Representative (Full-Time) Job Title: Human Resources & Payroll Representative Employment Type: Full-Time Department: Human Resources Reports To: Executive Director Location: Twin Falls FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Position Summary The Human Resources & Payroll Representative is responsible for supporting daily HR operations and ensuring accurate, timely payroll processing. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, payroll, benefits, and personnel matters, while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Human Resources <ul><li>Administer employee onboarding and offboarding processes</li><li>Maintain personnel files and HRIS records with accuracy and confidentiality</li><li>Assist with employee relations, policy interpretation, and HR inquiries</li><li>Support recruitment activities including job postings, screening, and interview coordination</li><li>Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee questions</li><li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations</li><li>Support audits, reports, and HR metrics as needed</li></ul> Payroll <ul><li>Process bi-weekly/monthly payroll accurately and on schedule</li><li>Review and verify timekeeping records, PTO, and payroll adjustments</li><li>Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws and payroll regulations</li><li>Manage payroll deductions, garnishments, and benefit contributions</li><li>Respond to employee payroll-related questions and resolve discrepancies</li><li>Prepare payroll reports and assist with audits and reconciliations</li></ul> Qualifications Education & Experience <ul><li>Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred</li><li>Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources and payroll processing</li><li>Experience with HRIS and payroll systems required</li></ul> Knowledge & Skills <ul><li>Strong knowledge of payroll practices, wage and hour laws, and employment regulations</li><li>High attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Strong organizational and time-management skills</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications <ul><li>HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP)</li><li>Experience with multi-state payroll</li><li>Healthcare or multi-entity organization experience</li></ul> Physical & Work Requirements <ul><li>Ability to sit for extended periods of time</li><li>Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.</li><li>Standard office environment</li></ul> Compensation & Benefits <ul><li>Competitive salary based on experience</li><li>Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO</li></ul> Horizon Home Health & Hospice Magic Valley Twin Falls, Idaho Rate of Pay: $26.00-$30.00 Horizon Home Health and Hospice is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
