Chief Information Officer - AMC CORPORATION General Summary The Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Archbold Medical Center is a senior executive role responsible for leading the strategic planning, implementation, and management of all information technology (IT) initiatives across the healthcare system. The CIO will leverage technology to improve patient care, streamline operations, ensure data security, and enhance overall system efficiency. As a member of the executive leadership team, the CIO will work closely with clinical, operational, and administrative stakeholders to drive innovation and ensure that the organizations IT systems support its mission and strategic goals. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with Archbold Medical Centers mission, vision, and business objectives. Act as a visionary for the future of technology in healthcare, keeping the organization at the forefront of industry trends. Collaborate with executive leaders to understand operational needs and develop technology solutions that enhance service delivery, patient care, and productivity. Oversee all IT operations, including infrastructure, applications, security, and data management, ensuring a secure, stable, and high-performing environment. Direct the implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of electronic health records (EHR) and other clinical information systems to optimize patient care. Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare IT regulations, such as HIPAA, to safeguard patient and organizational data. Develop and enforce policies and protocols for cybersecurity and data protection to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Lead risk assessment initiatives and collaborate with compliance and legal departments to mitigate potential data breaches and system vulnerabilities. Champion the integration of new technologies, including AI, telemedicine, and data analytics, to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, identifying and implementing advanced tools and solutions that can streamline processes. Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and professional growth. Manage IT budget and resources effectively, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high service standards. Manage relationships with IT vendors, consultants, and contractors, negotiating contracts and ensuring optimal service delivery. Engage with various stakeholders, including clinicians, administrators, and external partners, to gather input and maintain alignment on technology projects. Participates as a member of IS leadership and steering teams to represent the needs and requirements of the provider community. Qualifications Educational Requirements Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field required. Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or a related field is preferred. Certified Healthcare CIO (CHDIO), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are advantageous. Experience Minimum of progressive IT experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a healthcare organization. Required Skills Strong initiative, judgment, and decision-making abilities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and convey complex technical concepts clearly. Competency in organizing work, delegating tasks, and meeting organizational goals and objectives. An AI forward thinker with experience in consulting for HR organizations with a bias for action and execution.</li></ul>Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Own the CAO office operating cadence (weekly/monthly/quarterly rhythms), including agenda-setting, pre-reads, decision logs, action tracking, and follow-through.</li><li>Run the People function Business Management System (BMS) and QBRs end-to-end: define timelines, coordinate inputs, develop narratives, ensure data integrity, and drive accountability for commitments.</li><li>Develop executive- and Board-ready materials for People topics (e.g., workforce, org health, talent, engagement, transformation): reporting, dashboards, and compelling presentations that synthesize complex information into crisp insights, options, and recommendations.</li><li>Support People strategy development and execution: translate strategy into plans, operating mechanisms, and measurable goals; identify risks, dependencies, and trade-offs early.</li><li>Drive cross-functional alignment across HR COEs and HRBPs (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, People Ops, L&D, Employee Relations, DEI, People Analytics), ensuring consistent narrative, prioritization, and delivery.</li><li>Partner with Finance to manage the budget, including programs and headcount-bringing analytical rigor and clear recommendations.</li><li>Serve as a trusted thought partner to the CAO: bring "outside-in" perspective, provide bottom-up insights, and pressure-test plans, communications, and stakeholder strategy.</li><li>Establish operational rigor: improve processes, templates, and standards for planning, measurement, and executive communications across the People organization.</li><li>Bring AI proficiency for productivity and quality: identify high-value People use cases (e.g., insights synthesis, policy/knowledge retrieval, manager enablement), standardize workflows, and deploy tools that improve cycle time, insight quality, and operational efficiency.</li><li>Handle sensitive information with discretion; maintain high judgment, integrity, and confidentiality.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's degree required</li><li>10-15+ years of experience in strategic consulting, People/HR strategy & operations, business operations, or Chief of Staff roles; experience supporting a CHRO/People executive and operating in a matrixed environment strongly preferred.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to run operating mechanisms (e.g., BMS/QBRs), build People analytics and executive reporting, and deliver high-impact presentations for ELT/Board audiences.</li><li>Strong fluency across core People domains (e.g., org design, workforce planning, talent, engagement, performance, total rewards) and comfort partnering with Legal/Employee Relations on sensitive topics.</li><li>Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail; consistently produces accurate, polished work products under tight timelines.</li><li>Strong strategic thinking with practical execution skills-able to move from ambiguity to clarity and from plan to delivery.</li><li>Influential and collaborative: proven ability to lead through influence, build trust quickly, and align stakeholders across functions and levels.</li><li>AI fluent: understands how to evaluate People/HR use cases, manage data/privacy considerations, and embed AI into operating workflows to improve outcomes.</li><li>Experience supporting a tech company through transformation (operating model changes, system/process modernization, scaling) is a plus.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to run operating mechanisms (e.g., BMS/QBRs), build executive reporting, and deliver high-impact presentations for ELT/Board audiences.</li></ul>We focus on our mission: Sprinklr was founded in 2009 to solve a big problem: growing enterprise complexity that separated brands from their customers.
