Responsibilities: • Partner with sales teams to review customer requirements and generate technical proposals • Provide end‑to‑end engineering support for generator installations-site assessments, electrical evaluations, system layout, and integration with existing infrastructure • Recommend equipment (ATS, paralleling gear, switchgear) that meets project specifications • Design electrical systems, components, and equipment based on project requirements • Create schematics, drawings, and technical documentation • Specify materials, components, and electrical equipment • Assist in planning and executing electrical engineering projects • Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and testing • Work closely with the electric power sales team, project management, and our service teams • Communicate effectively with vendors, contractors, and consulting engineers • Prepare reports, proposals, and presentations as needed • Build and strengthen relationships with key clients and vendors in collaboration with other Ziegler sales representatives • Work with clients to understand their technical challenges and suggest solutions or improvements • Learn about CAT products, allied products and comparisons against competitive products in order to offer the best solutions based on customer interests and concerns. The engineer works directly with sales, service technicians, project managers, and customers to deliver reliable power generation and distribution solutions.
