Performance Standards</h3><p>Contractor shall:</p><ul><li>Perform all services in accordance with Backyard Discovery installation instructions and safety standards</li><li>Provide all labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the services (unless otherwise specified)</li><li>Maintain a safe and orderly worksite</li><li>Complete installations in a timely and workmanlike manner</li></ul><h3>3. Scheduling & Acceptance of Work</h3><p>Contractor retains sole discretion to accept or decline any offered project. Backyard Discovery does not guarantee a minimum number of projects or hours.</p><h3>4. Compensation</h3><p>Contractor shall be compensated on a <strong>per-project basis</strong>, as agreed upon for each installation. Contractor is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes and expenses associated with the services.</p><h3>5. Independent Contractor Relationship</h3><p>Contractor is an independent contractor and not an employee, partner, or agent of Backyard Discovery. Contractor is not entitled to wages, benefits, workers' compensation, unemployment insurance, or any employee protections.</p><h3>6. Insurance & Compliance</h3><p>Contractor shall maintain general liability insurance in amounts required by Backyard Discovery and shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and licensing requirements.</p><h3>7. Non-Exclusivity</h3><p>Nothing in this Agreement restricts Contractor from providing similar services to other clients or companies.</p>
