Law office assistants are responsible for formatting, proofreading, and editing; drafting; data entry; scheduling; case management; document management of mail, email, and other records; coding invoices; maintaining office equipment and supplies; answering phones; filing documents in a multitude of judicial venues; and other duties as assigned.
