Lead Responsibilities 

  • Lead or participate in multiple projects across multiple cross functional areas; 
  • Provide leadership to team members and peers; manage BA team allocations; determine daily priorities; ensure efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones; follow proper escalation paths; and manage customer and supplier relationships
  • Articulate ideas and viewpoints to senior management, peers and others; drive the resolution of issues; manage resources holding self and team accountable for results; ensure alignment of cross-team deliverables, participate in validation of estimates, financial analysis, scope containment, options analysis, and escalation
  • Ensure that all team members, including business partners, are working together effectively, are communicating with related / matrixed teams and are producing quality work, in line with the overall Product vision
  • Provide coaching and guidance to junior BA team members

Business Analysis Responsibilities

  • Responsible for eliciting, analyzing, documenting and validating business requirements and recommending solutions in support of business needs and overall IT strategies
  • Lead requirements elicitation and review sessions with customers and IT stakeholders
  • Support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs; understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders
  • Produce business requirements documents, user stories, epics, use case modeling, business process and workflow modeling for complex assignments
  • Identify, create and facilitate process design changes and identify improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive)
  • Recognize improvement opportunities and effectively present recommendations to stakeholders; accurately identify, define and communicate business problem and solution options
  • Manage customer relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep others up-to-date on project results
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills required
  • Familiar with JIRA and Confluence tools 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analysis or a related field
  • Must have exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
  • Hands-on experience with MS Tools, MS Visio
  • Healthcare or Healthcare insurance background is strong preferred
