A well respected and long time West Palm firm has an immediate opening for an Accounting/Administrative Clerk The duties of the Accounting/Administrative Clerk include the following: Receives, sorts, and distributes incoming mail; coordinates express mail services, assists in ordering, receiving, and stocking office supplies, provides clerical support to other associates (e.g., photocopying, faxing, filing, collating). sets up and maintains vendor accounts, receives and reviews invoices and purchase orders; processes invoices into computer system for payment, generates and maintains accounts payable reports, answers supplier inquires as to the status of their accounts, performs other duties as required. The successful candidate will offer the following requirements: 2+ years administrative and accounting/bookkeeping experience, High school diploma or GED required, practical knowledge of accounting and understanding of the general ledger accounts, especially with regards to invoices, familiarity with computerized record-keeping systems and Microsoft Office Suite, strong organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated ability to relate well with others in spirit of teamwork and professionalism, ability to work with minimum of direct supervision while demonstrating sound decision-making capabilities.
