Food and Beverage Support Manager

As a key member of the team, the Corporate Food and Beverage Manager has influence and accountability for training of procedures and standards; the implementation of new brand initiatives; and the support of the reduction of food, supplies and labor expenses across all F&B operations managed by McKibbon Hospitality. A Day in the Life:

  • Promote a strong F&B culture in all associates including management throughout the organization
  • Mentor, train and develop all associates as it relates to F&B to maximize profitability and service culture
  • Track and Communicate Continuous status and feedback related to food and beverage progress and performance in collaboration with the brand operating Standards
  • Work effectively with development and construction to ensure timelines and plans for existing project renovations and new hotel builds are being met
  • Ensure a full understanding and compliance with all federal and state laws, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety, labor requirements of the food and beverage department and our guests\
  • Implement and train on all McKibbon procedures that relate to cost control and inventory management
  • Conduct property visits focusing on the opportunities to improve F&B brand standards, cost containment and guest service scores
  • Support and inspect for safety and security standards are being maintained \
  • Support guest experience and satisfaction in all operations
  • Work with operations on F&B labor productivity
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with hotel general managers, assistant general managers, sales managers, in order to exceed food and beverage sales
  • Works closely with both the Recruiting and Training Manager in developing operating and training materials
  • Participate as a culinary and beverage resource for all property food and beverage operations
  • Be able to develop sustainable action plans and drive results from an above property level
  • Develops strong understanding of Avendra and its financial impact to our properties

Requirements:

  • Travel will be required weekly
  • Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates positive leadership and teamwork abilities
  • Make independent decisions while maintaining strong ethical standards consistent with Mckibbon company policy, rules and the ability to maintain confidential information

Ideal Skills & Qualities:

  • Associates/Bachelor's degree
  • Five years minimum experience in food and beverage operations
  • Three years minimum in management experience
  • Minimum of two years in a current or similar food and beverage hotel service operations leadership role
  • Experience managing multiple outlets at an above property level a plus
