Join our dynamic outside sales team! You will be our principal contact with paint store personnel as well as contractors. Focus on driving sales with our Industrial Products, High Performance Floor Coatings, Roof Coatings and Primers.
Your territory includes the states of Washington and Montana as well as Northern Idaho.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining regular contact with our customers to understand their needs and identify business opportunities. Working closely with your assigned Zone Manager, recommend product, and advise on application, performance and color.
In addition, as the main POC for your assigned customers and territories, manage budgets, craft quotations and specifications as well as interface with various internal Rust-Oleum departments (including credit, customer service, etc.) to delivery exceptional service.
In conjunction with your Zone Manager, facilitate timely and accurate customer quotations and specification writing.
4 years of previous outside sales experience is required - experience selling with your assigned territory strongly preferred.
Associates or Bachelor's degree in a business related field or equivalent work experience.
NACE Certified preferred.
Previous coatings experience strongly desired as a focus in industrial coatings and high performance floor coatings is needed.
Demonstrated success in a sales service role with demonstrated success in customer retention.
Must possess a valid Driver's License and have maintained a motor vehicle record within acceptable limits as prescribed by Rust-Oleum.
Availability to work and travel within assigned territory 30-40% of time. Periodic evening and weekend hours required for trade organization meetings and customer events.
