Credit & Collections Specialist

The Credit and Collection Specialist will be responsible for establishing lines of credit, monitoring the order queue and assuring timely collections of open receivables. The role of Credit and Collection Specialist involves significant interaction with all functions within Rexnord and with the Rexnord customer base. The Credit and Collection Specialist is part of the corporate finance team located in Milwaukee and will report to the Credit Manager.
Perform customer collection calls to ensure timely payments to Rexnord
Review orders on credit hold and determine credit releases
Review of the Accounts Receivable portfolio for customer delinquencies
Collaborate cross functionally with sales personnel amongst others to reduce customer delinquencies
Resolve issues resulting in payment delays internally and externally.
Evaluate credit worthiness of customers to establish credit lines.
Review aging to establish risks to collection goals.
Perform other tasks as required

Able to work independently
High school degree or higher
Minimum 2-4 years of Accounts Receivable experience
Strong attention to detail
Experience with credit granting
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel
Previous experience with SAP desired
