1) 3-5+ experience in building Native applications in an enterprise environment. Using frameworks such as Xamerian, NativeScript, React, or similar.
IOS- using Swift/Objective-C
Android- Java or Hybrid applications, XCode
2) Expert in various Integrated Development Environments and languages including; C#, Visual Studio, Eclipse
IOS- Swift, Objective-C
3) Experience developing against common API technologies including REST and SOAP
4) Developed and published apps, websites or other examples of solutions built. Portfolio examples required for interview
Job Description: Since a recent acquisition, the client is wanting to bring Regal's mobile app and web development teams in house. They have been using a company to do the development for both of these initiatives. The Mobile App Developer will create software applications (apps) for mobile phones, tablets, set-top boxes, wearables, and other mobile devices. May develop on one or more mobile platforms including Apple iOS and Google Android. Collaborates with Product Designers and QA analysts in support of the software development life cycle.
Additional Information: Information about technical environment:
-Developers will be working with Native applications using Swift/Objective-C and Java or Hybrid applications using frameworks such as Xamarin, NativeScript, React, or similar
* Development Environments and languages including Swift, Java, Objective-C, C#, XCode, Visual Studio Code, Eclipse, etc...
*API technologies including REST and SOAP
* Experience with Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services deployment platforms
Client is the world's second largest cinema chain, with 9,538 screens across 793 sites in 10 countries: the US, the UK, Ireland, Poland, Romania, Israel, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria and Slovakia.
Work Environment: located in a newly renovated building downtown on the Tennessee River. Inside you can enjoy a cafeteria, kitchens on every floor, parking for various downtown concerts and sporting events and they are working on getting trolley access across the bridge. It is a cubicle environment and dress is business casual.
Who is the Internal/External Customer:External customers are anyone with access to a computer, tablet and/or phone that purchases movie tickets. Also working closely with Marketing and other departments to ensure quality and promotional offers to attract external customers.
Impact to the Internal/External Customer:Maintain and fix any arising issues with the mobile app and website to ensure an easy hassle-free process for ticket sales. Will also be adding features to streamline efficiencies and promote special offers.
Business Challenge: The company's main initiative is focused on the customer experience. This team will be working with Marketing to improve the 3-5% ticket sale numbers, hopefully doubling those. The company is trying to reduce headcount by this action and increase revenue and profit. If this is successful, this team will eventually have the opportunity to take over and build out CineWorlds UK mobile and website platform as well. The additional cost savings will be used to invest in better technology for the movie goers experience, i.e. Higher resolution screens, better sound, etc.
EVP:This is a highly visible opportunity with a very financially stable company. This person will have the responsibility of building out a creative technical team to drive revenue and profit through the mobile app. Employees enjoy two free movie tickets to be used over and over and half day work days between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Regal just moved to their new downtown location in September of last year and is enjoying the perks of the $14million building.
