My client is a Real Estate Company located in Alexandria, VA looking for a Payroll/HR Benefits specialist to join their Human Resources team of two. As the Payroll Administrator you will be leading all aspects of the payroll process including, recording, balancing and reconciling payroll expenses. The candidate will be preparing payroll journal entries and working in ADP. As the Benefits specialist, you will be responsible for administration of benefits to the employees, tracking employee absences and paid time off balances and alert supervisors of discrepancies. The ideal Payroll/HR benefits candidate will have experience using ADP Payroll and 2+ yrs of processing payroll in multiple states. Payroll responsibilities: ? Leading all aspects of the payroll process ? Recording, balancing and reconciling payroll expenses ? Auditing timekeeping and resolving issues ? Prepare payroll journal entries to the general ledger ? Prepares direct deposit, tax withholdings and wage garnishments HR Benefits Responsibilities: ? Lead all aspects of the benefits process ? Assist employees in enrollment of health, dental and vision insurances: retirement plans, FSA accounts, and business reimbursements. ? Administer vacations, sick, personal and bereavement time ? Track employees? absences and time off

Job Requirements

Requirements: ? Experience using ADP Payroll ? 2+ yrs of processing payroll in multiple states ?
