Job Description

Inside Sales Representative / College Graduates!

National business print and online publication company is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join their team. Office is located in West Charlotte. Schedule would be 8:00am - 5:00pm. Base $17/hour plus commissions starting day one. Total $50-60k.

Responsibilities:

  • Cold call & sell predetermined prospects a subscription via telemarketing
  • Research subscriber purchase history prior to sales contact
  • Research contact information
  • Sell the company and the benefits / value of its varied products
  • Close both prepaid and invoiced sales
  • Maintain the status of each telephone contact
  • Contact customers regarding payment delays / non-payment
  • Participate in company-provided sales meetings and training sessions
  • Keep accurate and timely sales records
  • Provide customer service, as required
  • All other duties as required by management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree is highly preferred.
  • We are only looking for applicants with SALES experience. Specifically in a Call Center environment and with a passion for cold calling.
  • Ideal attributes: ability to talk to strangers, high energy, upbeat, "the more the better" mindset, aggressive, able to speak articulately and deal with CEO-level customers, well-spoken, nimble, able to make cold calls and close the sale.
  • Strong communications skills, good command of the English language.
  • Someone that doesn't mind repetitive nature of the job, is committed and focused and loves to talk to people all day.
  • Not afraid to tackle cold sales calls.
  • Wants to earn commissions.
  • High energy. Positive attitude.
  • Possess the ability to meet or exceed the weekly sales goal
  • Display a consistent passion for customer service and satisfaction
  • Ability to excel in a non-mobile cubicle environment
  • Attention to detail regarding call outcomes is imperative

First year should make around $50-60K+, depending on performance.
