Bachelor’s degree in a related area from an accredited college or university required. Possession of or ability to obtain an appropriate, valid instructor certificate in fire, rescue or EMS. Possession of a valid driver’s license. Minimum three years of increasingly responsible related work experience required. Must be a certified Paramedic. Experience in teaching at a post-secondary level preferred. Certified Paramedic to assist the Director, Transportation and Public Safety in the planning and coordination of the Fire, Rescue, EMS program areas. To coordinate and instruct classes in the Paramedic programs on both campuses; to assist in the coordination of assigned activities with other college programs, divisions, departments and outside agencies; and to provide highly responsible and administrative support to the Director, Transportation and Public Safety.
