SharePoint Administrator

Key Role:

Provide core and shared infrastructure services application development and maintenance services. Implement SharePoint services to raise intelligence product quality and expand information sharing throughout DoDIIS, add, modify, and delete functionality based on client requirements, upgrade and support tools as newer versions are released, improve application and Web performance, and migrate legacy applications and Web services to core and shared infrastructure services. Use government–provided software and tools to perform application and Web development and maintenance services.

Basic Qualifications:

-6+ years of experience in IT with at least 3+ of those years of experience as a SharePoint Farm Administrator having at least three member servers, excluding the SQL backend

-Experience with operations support for a SharePoint farm infrastructure

-Experience in using SharePoint versions 2010 and up with content database size must have totaled at least 1 TB

-Experience with applying Microsoft and SharePoint; service packs, cumulative updates, hot fixes, and patches

-Knowledge of SharePoint 2010 and forward architecture, including farm, Web applications, site collections, sites, and lists

-Knowledge of various troubleshooting, platform development, and maintenance techniques, including developing or following procedures for managing operations for a SharePoint infrastructure

-Ability to install, configure, operate, and maintain SharePoint 2010 and 2013

-Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take polygraph exam

-HS diploma or GED and 8 years of experience with IT, AA or AS degree and 6 years of experience with IT, BA or BS degree and 4 years of experience with IT, or MA or MS degree and 2 years of experience with IT

-DoD 8570 Compliance IAT Level II Certification or ability to obtain with 60 days of hire

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with programming in the .NET Framework 3.5 and up

-Experience with DDL Microsoft SQL Server Management, including creating, copying, restoring, and moving databases and using SQL reporting services

-Knowledge of the implementation of SharePoint custom claims–based authentication providers, SAML, Forms–based authentication, custom security token service, and directory services, including LDAP and Active Directory

-Knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)

-Knowledge of PowerShell 3.0 and forward scripting

-Knowledge of the migration of SharePoint farms from older versions to later releases
