Job Description

Position Summary:

Under the guidance of the Tampa Office Administrator, the Legal Project Assistant is an entry level position supporting the Firm’s various legal practices.  This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate contemplating a career in the legal industry to gain substantive experience at a top-ranked law firm.  

Position Responsibilities:

  • Maintain databases of relevant information, retrieving information from databases, and/or transferring information between databases as required by clients

  • Copy, file, scan and organize documents and binders

  • Provide back-up support at front desk during receptionist’s breaks and PTO

  • Perform other administrative duties to support the legal team in its day to day activities

  • Effectively communicate with clients and attorneys at all levels

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Overtime and travel as needed


Job Requirements

Position Requirements and Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially MS Excel

  • Excellent communications skills including clear diction, superior grammar, and a clear telephone voice

  • Ability to multi-task while paying close attention to detail and adhering to deadlines

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to professionally interact with employees at all levels of the organization with a focus on client service

  • Various physical activity may be required
