Job Description

Retail Marketing Designer 
The Retail Marketing Designer is a blended role that will have marketing, branding and design responsibilities. The primary focus will be to support the Sales team to specifically address the marketing needs of our wholesale customers by creating a wide range of design materials including digital assets, retail sales collateral, signs, displays and marketing emails. The Trade Marketing Designer will become extremely familiar with each customer segment (golf, gift, surf, outdoor, etc).  
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Create sales/brand presentations as needed for customer visits/meetings.
  • Create specific sales fliers for reps as needed.
  • Create Point of Purchase (POP) and other in-store assets for specific markets.
  • Compile ads for various events we are sponsoring to support sales markets.
  • Monthly Email Communications: Cooler Talk Email, Sales Rep Email updates for all markets – Work with marketing and sales teams to gather content and lists to complete these initiatives but ensure they are prioritized and properly planned.
  • Compile customer feedback survey and rep surveys .
  • Ensure B2B site is up to date with latest items and work with marketing team to complete tasks.
  • Manage on-boarding/training presentations for new reps and agencies.
  • Manage Rep Lists.
  • Send post-trade show follow up emails.
  • Manage Pricing structures in NetSuite & Rep Agencies.
  • Reports to the Creative Director. No direct reports.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS – KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of graphic design or related creative design experience is preferred.
  • Experience in merchandising and/or retail marketing is preferred.
  • Strong artistic aptitude with portfolio of completed graphic designs and creative projects.
  • Able to meet aggressive deadlines, consistently delivering exemplary work while, juggling multiple priorities and calmly working through continuous distractions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Attention to detail and data accuracy. 
  • Strong organizational skills. 
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments. 
  • Self-starter with the ability to think creatively, work independently and as a part of a team to solve problems and identify opportunities. 
  • Must be proficient with ability to develop his/her own general correspondence and oral/visual presentations. 
  • Intermediate Graphic Design / Layout skills in software programs required: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Keynote. Familiarity with Mac is preferred. 
  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work within the core hours of 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional needs to accommodate a flexible schedule outside of core hours / weekdays.
