General Description:

Under general supervision of the Manager, Compliance, the Manager, Employer Audit, is responsible for managing a team of Auditors to oversee employer data review and data audit functions in collaboration with external auditors.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensures adherence to project plans and agreed timelines and ensures employer audits are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provides guidance to team members regarding employer audit objectives and data accuracy.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional departments and assists team members to manage employer audit processes.
  • Develops, maintains and ensures that identified patterns are brought forth and oversees recommendations for remediation of employer data in alignment with statutory requirements.
  • Assists external auditors with the purpose of ensuring that employer data and integrity are maintained at all levels of data entry and transmission.
  • Follows updates and changes to the Pension Code in order to effectively communicate and direct the implementation of any required changes to employer data transmission methods and standards.
  • Trains and develops Audit team members.
  • Assists cross-functional teams on various projects as required.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Position Qualifications:

  • Progressive experience with employer data and internal audit functions.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with demonstrable analytical and cognitive capabilities to function independently is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting and moving up to twenty pounds occasionally.
  • Sitting for long periods of time, some standing and repetitive physical activity. 


  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
