Librarian Responsibilities:
- Assist the Library Administrator in administrative tasks for the backfile project.
- Utilize Outlook for staff communication and document management.
- Purge records following document retention schedules.
- Merge and edit documents using Adobe.
- Prepare and scan documents using high-speed scanners.
- Upload scanned documents into the Unity Client system.
- Identify and input metadata for indexing.
- Perform quality assurance on ingested documents.
Librarian Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree.
- Previous library experience is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Adobe tools.
- Proficiency in managing document-related tasks, including scanning, metadata indexing, and quality assurance.
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.

- Location: Logan OH 43215 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $25/hr
- Required Availability: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
Librarian Summary and Highlights:
The Librarian will support backfile project. This role requires library experience and proficiency in managing document-related tasks, including scanning, metadata indexing, and quality assurance.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
