Job Requirements of Lead Clinician, Behavioral Health:
Responsibilities:
· Provide support, encouragement, and guidance to the other staff members.
· Assess the needs of staff members.
· Orients, coaches, and counsels staff.
· Delegates and oversees work assignments .
· Coordinate the implementation of the staff strategies, interventions, and activities, including their timing and sequence.
· Meets regularly with program staff to coordinate activities, address issues, resolve problems, and review program goals and objectives.
· Assist in the discussion of complex issues and to provide mediation when staff conflict appears unresolved.
· Evaluate the program's clinical effectiveness and services and to modify these services according to need and in consultation with program Director.
· Complete required administrative tasks and keep related administrative records.
· Participate in weekly multidisciplinary team meetings to evaluate child and sponsor participation and progress.
· Attend meetings as requested and assigned.
· Prepare and submit reports and statistical data when necessary.
· Participate in the periodic formal evaluation of staff teams and/or staff members and provide direction for change and growth.
· Tracks and assures program staff maintain compliance with agency and program training requirements
· Keep abreast of current policies and procedures.
· Ensures training requirements and needs are met.
· Manages paid time off policies, i.e., approves timesheets and leave requests.
· Ensure ongoing compliance with state licensing regulations, ADA, ORR and all other regulatory requirements and report unsanitary or unsafe conditions.
· Conducts timely weekly case reviews of records in compliance with Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI)/Quality Assurance (QA) activities of the agency.
· Collaborate with other team members to meet agency’s Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI)/Quality Assurance (QA) requirements.
· Monitors performance and adherence to Inspiritus’ mission, policies, procedures, and service philosophy.

Summary : The Inspire Georgia provides temporary shelter care and case management services to unaccompanied children in the U.S. Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) custody. The Lead Clinician is responsible for the long-range and day-to-day growth and enhancement of the clinical services provided. She/he will supervise all clinicians and the Prevention of Sexual Abuse Manager (PSA). She/he will collaborate with the Lead Case Manager to ensure that the clinicians and PSA have the resources and support they need to provide successful services.
Desired Qualifications:
· LCSW, LPC, LMFT
Non-Essential Responsibilities:
· P erforms other duties as assigned to meet program needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Master's Degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related behavioral health field or related experience working with children and families preferred, plus two years of experience coordinating or supervising direct service staff work.
· Bilingual in Spanish and English.
· Computer skills, i.e., Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Extended Reach, electronic databases.
· Must have the ability to communicate in a culturally competent manner.
· Must be sensitive to the served population's cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
· Ability to work within a team and to work independently.
· Ability to take the initiative.
· Hybrid, combination of in person and remote work.
· Must have a personal vehicle, a valid Georgia Driver's license and have personal auto insurance and a good driving record.
