Provider Credentialing Specialist Compensation

• The pay for this position is $35.00 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Provider Credentialing Specialist Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based on performance and business needs
• The required availability for this position is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Provider Credentialing Specialist Responsibilities

• Enforce regulatory compliance and quality assurance
• Prepare and maintain reports of credentialing activities, ensuring adherence to legal, federal, and state guidelines
• Process applications for new applicants and reappointments (approximately 125-200 quarterly)
• Collect and process verification and accreditation information
• Maintain accurate data in the Echo database
• Prepare materials for various meetings including Credentials Committee and Board of Trustees
• Ensure compliance with Bylaws at each location concerning credentialing
• Track license and certification expirations for all providers
• Maintain confidentiality of provider information

Provider Credentialing Specialist Requirements

• Knowledge of the credentialing process required (non-insurance credentialing)
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to research and analyze data
• Ability to work independently and establish effective working relationships
• Excellent computer skills
• High School Diploma or GED

• Previous experience with provider credentialing
