Administrative Assistant/Customer Service-Work From Home (Remote)

$35.00 - $45.00/Hour

  • Must demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills, including ability to read, analyze and interpret general business information and write business requirements and process documentation
  • Ability to speak and write English effectively to interact with groups of USA and Canada based customers, vendors and/or team members
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors and team members of all professional levels
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to effectively balance multiple tasks and priorities
  • Ability to operate in a complex, rapidly changing environment while adhering to tight schedules
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel formulas and functions
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure; calculate gross margin and markup; and, compute ratios, percentages, and interpret bar graphs
  • Proven analytical skills and use of data query tools
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Software required, as is the ability to quickly learn and use job specific computer applications including EDI specifications.

  • Gather, organize, and document business requirements
  • Ability to cultivate relationships across functions in order to achieve business objectives.
  • Concise verbal and written communication with trading partners (customers and vendors)
  • Clear and detailed documentation of requirements, test plans and project summaries
  • Take ownership and act as subject matter expert for the trading partners and escalate issues as necessary
  • Data entry, export, reporting and analysis across multiple systems
  • Recommend enhancements to expand on process efficiencies
  • Develop and maintain process documentation and training materials
  • Prepare and submit weekly status and KPI reports
  • Must demonstrate good organizational and follow-up skills and work independently with minimal supervision, including ability to balance multiple tasks
